Boy Hospitalized after Fort Bragg Bicycle Accident on Oak and North Harold Streets
Fort Bragg, California (March 22, 2019) – A 12-year-old boy was injured after a bicycle collision Monday morning in the area of Fort Bragg, according to authorities.
The collision was reported at around 7:48 a.m. Monday, March 18 at Oak and North Harold Streets.
As per the officials, the boy was riding on a bike when he entered into the path of a vehicle traveling through the intersection and was struck.
The patient who was wearing a helmet at the time was rushed to Mendocino Coast District Hospital for treatment of a broken wrist and ankle. The victim was reportedly treated and released.
Officials said that Edward Dowlin, the involved driver, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
