1 Dies, Another Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto
San Jacinto, California (January 31, 2023) – A driver died, and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place early Monday morning on Ramona Expressway on the north end of San Jacinto.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at around 1 a.m. just west of San Jacinto Avenue.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, trapping both drivers inside.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the victims.
Both drivers were taken to a regional trauma center, where one died from their injuries. The other patient remained in serious condition Monday afternoon.
The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
