Woman Killed in Fresno County Vehicle Collision near Temperance Avenue and North Avenue
Fresno County, California (November 23, 2022) – A woman was killed and another was seriously injured in a crash that occurred Monday evening in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreckage happened at around 5:00 p.m. on November 21 near Temperance and North Avenues.
A 25-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Corolla heading southbound on Temperance Avenue and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection on North Avenue.
Officials say for unknown reasons, the woman drove into the intersection and collided with a Ford truck travelling eastbound on North Avenue.
Both drivers were rushed to a hospital with major, life-threatening injuries. The female Corolla driver was declared dead at the hospital.
The truck driver remained hospitalized. Manjit Kaur Grewal, 57, the passenger in the Corolla was not injured.
Authorities are investigating to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
