1 Killed, 3 Injured in Stockton Car Crash on Orange Blossom Road near Lancaster Road

Stockton, California (May 19, 2021) – One person was killed in a collision that left several people injured in Stockton, Stanislaus County, on Tuesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7 p.m. May 18, in the area of Orange Blossom and Lancaster roads between Oakdale and Knights Ferry.

A pickup truck was traveling southbound on Orange Blossom Road when it drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV.

A 78-year-old Oakdale man who was driving the SUV was killed in the accident. His passenger, a 78-year-old Oakdale woman, was hospitalized with major injuries.

The pickup truck driver and one of his two passengers sustained major injuries in the accident and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
