54-Year-Old Fresno Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Disneyland Drive in Anaheim

Anaheim, California (February 11, 2019) – A 54-year-old Fresno man was fatally struck by a suspected drunk driver Saturday night in Anaheim, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. February 9, on Disneyland Drive just north of Katella Avenue.

Anaheim police said Stefanie Lyn Bieser, 47, of La Mirada, was operating a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser northbound on Disneyland Drive when she jumped the curb, for unknown reasons, slammed into a pole and an electrical box before hitting the man. The man was walking southbound on the east sidewalk when the accident occurred.

The man was taken to U.C. Irvine Medical Center, where he was declared dead. His name was not immediately disclosed.

Bieser was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

The police are investigating the crash.
