Craig Smith Killed in Car Accident Crash on 10th Street West and Avenue H-12 in Lancaster
Lancaster, California (February 23, 2021) – 66-year-old Craig Smith, of Lancaster, has been identified as the man who was killed in a car accident on Saturday evening in Lancaster, the police said.
The deadly collision happened at around 5:21 p.m. February 20, on 10th Street West, just south of Avenue H-12.
The Lancaster Police Department said Smith was driving a Mercedes and made a U-turn onto 10th Street West to travel southbound when he collided head-on with a pickup truck traveling northbound on 10th Street West.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
A man and two women riding in the car with Smith were injured.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
