Felicitas Navarro Killed in Solana Beach Crash on I-5 near Manchester Avenue
Solana Beach, California (March 17, 2020) – Felicitas Navarro, 57, of Wilmington was killed in a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Solana Beach, according to the authorities.
The deadly wreck was reported at about 2:35 a.m. March 14, on northbound Interstate 5, just south of Manchester Avenue.
Authorities said Navarro was driving northbound on I-5 when she pulled over and parked her vehicle in the emergency lane. A vehicle traveling behind her also stopped but was rear-ended by a third vehicle. The impact pushed the vehicles into Navarro’s car.
Navarro was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no details on other injuries.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
