Girl Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Range Avenue in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, California (July 12, 2019) – A 2-year-old girl was injured in a pedestrian accident which occurred near Coddingtown Mall in Santa Rosa on Thursday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 2:41 p.m. July 11, on Range Avenue.
As per the report, the girl was in the company of an adult when she ran into the street and was hit by a passing van driven by Hector Cabrales Larios, 47, of Santa Rosa.
The girl sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital. She is expected to survive.
Larios did not stop at the scene but was later located and arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and felony hit-and-run.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
