Leonard Tarver Identified as Man Killed in Harbor City Pedestrian Crash on South Normandie Avenue
Harbor City, California (February 12, 2019) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday evening in Harbor City has been identified as Leonard Tarver, 59, of Harbor City, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident took place at about 6:26 p.m. February 9, in the 25513 block of South Normandie Avenue.
Authorities said Tarver was trying to walk across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when a vehicle struck him.
Tarver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No further details were provided.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
