Man Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Crash at Stearns Street and McNab Avenue

Long Beach, California (February 20, 2021) – A 76-year-old man died after being hit by a motorcycle on Tuesday evening in East Long Beach.

The collision happened at around 6:20 p.m. on February 16, on Stearns Street and McNab Avenue.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, a 23-year-old motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Stearns Avenue when he struck the pedestrian at McNab Avenue.

The man sustained major injuries and was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The police did not immediately disclose the identity of the deceased.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
