Man Struck and Killed by Car on 10 Freeway near Cedar Avenue in Bloomington

Bloomington, California (February 23, 2021) – A 43-year-old Lake Elsinore man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday evening in Bloomington, the police said.

The accident happened at around 7:17 p.m. February 20, on 10 Freeway near Cedar Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said a 33-year-old Riverside man was driving a 2008 Jeep Wrangler westbound on the freeway when it struck the pedestrian who was walking in the westbound lanes.

The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash.

The police did not disclose the identity of the victim.

An investigation into the collision is still underway.
