One Killed in Merced Pedestrian Accident on V Street
Merced, California (February 11, 2019) – A man in his 40s was fatally hit by a train Saturday morning in Merced, according to the police.
The deadly accident occurred at about 11:11 a.m. February 9, in the 1500 block of V Street.
Merced police said the man was walking across the tracks when he was struck by a westbound train.
The man was killed in the accident. His name was not immediately disclosed.
No further details were provided.
The police are investigating the crash.
