Orange, CA: Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Car on Santa Ana Canyon Road and Orange Olive Road

Orange, California (April 27, 2018) – A vehicle struck and killed a bicyclist on Thursday evening in Orange, according to Orange Police department.

The deadly collision occurred at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the intersection of Santa Ana Canyon Road and Orange Olive Road.

Police said the rider was heading west on Santa Ana Canyon Road when they were hit by a car traveling northbound on Orange Olive Road.

The unidentified bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the car involved was at the scene when the police arrived. The driver reportedly cooperated with the investigation.

The Orange Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
