Paul Willard ID’d as Man Injured in Madera Motorcycle Accident on Gateway Drive near 4th Street
Madera, California (February 6, 2019) – The man who was seriously injured Saturday evening in a motorcycle accident in Madera has been identified as Paul Willard, 31, of Madera, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place at about 5:55 p.m. February 2, on Gate Drive near 4th Street.
CHP said Willard was riding his motorcycle when a truck driver who was trying to change lanes, failed to see him and struck him.
Willard was taken to the hospital with major injuries where he was in stable condition as of Monday morning.
Gate Drive near 4th Street was closed for about two hours following the crash.
No further details were provided.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
