Raul Gulliver ID’d as Man Killed in Coachella Bicycle Accident on Grapefruit Boulevard near Mitchell Drive
Coachella, California (April 28, 2019) – The man who was killed early Friday morning in a suspected DUI bicycle accident in Coachella has been identified as Raul Gulliver, 34, a local news source reported.
The fatal accident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. April 26, on Grapefruit Boulevard near Mitchell Drive.
As per the report, Gulliver was riding a bicycle northbound on the street when a southbound pickup truck, driven by Hector Polanco, 32, of Coachella, hit him.
Gulliver was declared dead at the scene.
Polanco was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
