Robert Calvin Killed in Laguna Niguel Crash on Alicia Parkway and Awma Road
Laguna Niguel, California (March 19, 2020) – An elderly man was killed in a bicycle collision on Wednesday morning in Laguna Niguel, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash happened at about 9:55 a.m. March 18, in the area of Alicia Parkway and Awma Road.
Authorities said Robert Calvin, 83, of Laguna Niguel was riding a bike when he was struck by a vehicle.
Calvin was transported to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
No further details were released.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
