Sebastian Martinez Killed in Kern County Crash on Highway 33 near Baker Road
Kern County, California (March 17, 2020) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 33 in Kern County on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 9:40 p.m. March 15, near Baker Road.
According to the CHP, Sebastian Alberto Martinez, 20, was driving a Toyota southbound on the highway when he swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with another vehicle.
The impact caused the Toyota to spin and it was then struck by a Kia.
Martinez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other drivers were injured in the crash.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
