Merced, California (May 3, 2019) – A seventh-grade boy was hit and killed by a train Thursday afternoon in Merced, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. May 2, along the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks near G and 23rd streets.
Police said the boy was hit and killed by the train on the tracks.
The boy was killed in the crash. His name has not been disclosed.
