Sheng Tu Lin ID’d as 73-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Yucca Valley Traffic Accident at Twentynine Palms Highway and Mohawk Trail
Yucca Valley, California (September 19, 2020) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has identified Sheng Tu Lin, 73, of Yucca Valley, as the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Yucca Valley.
The deadly accident transpired at about 8:23 p.m., on September 16, at the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Mohawk Trail.
According to the police, Tu Lin was struck by a westbound 2005 Toyota Prius, in the number one lane, while crossing Twentynine Palms Highway in unclear circumstances.
Tu Lin was reportedly walking home from his family restaurant when the accident occurred.
Sadly, Tu Lin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
