In the ongoing investigation, officials will check the involved vehicle for system failure or mechanical issues and analyze the photos taken at the crash site. They will determine if drugs, alcohol, distraction, recklessness, or negligence were factors in the crash. The case’s final results will determine if the victim’s family member will have the right to file a wrongful death lawsuit and, ultimately receive compensation.
