Steven Rodriguez Dies in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Maple Avenue

Fresno, California (November 7, 2019) – Steven Rodriguez Sr., 61, of Fresno was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident that occurred on Tuesday night in Fresno, according to the authorities.

The crash happened at around 9:00 p.m. November 5, on Maple Avenue, just north of Olive Avenue.

Authorities said Rodriguez was pushing a shopping cart on Maple Avenue when a truck hit him.

Rodriguez sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the involved truck remained at the scene.

Police said alcohol was not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
