2 Killed in Fairfield Vehicle Collision on Suisan Valley Road near Morrison Lane

Solano, California (November 19, 2022) – Two people were killed and two others were injured in a crash that happened Friday evening in Fairfield, according to a police report.

As per the report, the three-vehicle accident occurred on Suisan Valley Road near Morrison Lane at around 6:06 p.m. November 18.

According to the CHP, a Mazda going south hit a Honda headed northbound on Suisan Valley Road. The Mazda left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The vehicle then re-entered the road where it collided with a Chrysler travelling in the northbound lane.

The female Mazda driver, 38, and one of the occupants, an 11-year-old girl, were killed in the accident. Another passenger, a 6-year-old boy, suffered minors injuries and was rushed to NorthBay Medical Center.

Janice Barry, 56, of Fairfield Honda driver, was not injured while his 3-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized.

Virginia Martin of Fairfield, Chrysler driver was treated at NorthBay Medical Center with minor injuries.

Suisan Valley Road was closed as authorities investigate the mishap.

Alcohol was considered a factor in the accident.

Details regarding the deceased were not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the collision is underway.
