Vicente Lopez Killed in Bicycle Accident on Alameda Street in Firestone Park

Firestone Park, California (April 29, 2019) – The man who was killed Friday night in a bicycle accident in Firestone Park, Los Angeles, has been identified as 57-year-old Vicente Lopez of Lynwood, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened at about 10:10 p.m. April 26, on Alameda Street near Firestone Boulevard.

Authorities said Lopez had just left a 7-11 parking lot in his bicycle when a southbound pickup truck, driven by a 65-year-old Los Angeles man, hit him.

Lopez was rushed to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood with serious injuries where he later died.

The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
