1 Seriously Injured in Friday Night Redwood City Crash

Redwood City, California (May 23, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision that occurred Friday night at Hurlingame Avenue and San Mateo Avenue in Redwood City, sending one person to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 8:32 p.m. and involved a white Chevrolet Silverado and a blue Nissan.

Responding emergency crews found a female party on the ground with a serious head injury.

Firefighters and sheriff’s deputies closed the roadway as they investigated.

Both vehicles acquired crash moderate crash damage.

CHP is investigating the accident.
