67-Year-Old Berry Blunt ID’d Victim Killed in Lake Elsinore Crash on Grand Avenue and Vail Street
Lake Elsinore, California (August 13, 2019) – Police officers have identified the man killed in a car accident on Sunday morning in Lake Elsinore, as Berry Blunt, 67, of Lake Elsinore, Jose Moteo Montejo, 22, arrested, according to a police report.
The crash occurred at around 2:30 a.m. August 11, on Grand in Avenue and Vail Street.
Police said Montejo was driving a 2006 Buick Rendezvouson the roadway when he crashed into a 1972 Chevy Chevelle driven by Blunt.
Blunt was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Montejo suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, Montejo was then booked into jail.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
