Compton, California (September 17, 2020) – A traffic collision involving a bicycle and a car in Compton, Wednesday night, left a 40-year-old man dead.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., September 16, the California Highway Patrol responded to the fatal accident on Rosecrans Avenue, west of Aprilia Avenue.

As per the report, a 2008 Honda Element slammed into the back of the 40-year-old bicyclist in a poorly lit area on Rosecrans Avenue.

The primary report indicated that the Honda was changing lanes prior to the collision.

The male party died in the mishap.
