1 Dies in Orange Multi-Car Crash on Katella Avenue
Orange, California (July 10, 2023) – One person sustained fatal injuries after a crash involving several vehicles in Orange Saturday night.
According to the authorities, the collision occurred at around 8:20 p.m. July 8 on Katella Avenue between Shafter and Cambridge Streets.
A westbound Hyundai sedan on Katella Avenue swerved into the path of an oncoming traffic and collided with a Honda Insight and a Toyota Tundra.
The Hyundai driver was declared dead at the crash site.
The Tundra driver and a 4-year-old girl in the car were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries and was treated at the accident scene.
It’s unknown if alcohol and drugs were factors in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
