Klamath Woman Killed in Crescent City Accident on Highway 101
Crescent City, California (April 6, 2019) – A 64-year-old woman from Klamath was killed in a traffic collision Friday morning in Crescent City, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 7:05 a.m. Friday, April 5, on Highway 101.
As per the CHP officials, the woman was driving a Subaru northbound on Highway 101 when she veered into the southbound lanes and crashed into a Ford F-150 for reasons still under investigation.
The impact sent the Subaru off the side of the road where it slammed into trees.
The Subaru driver was declared dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
The Ford driver was unhurt in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
