Los Angeles, CA: Two Injured in Westlake Two-car Fiery Collision

Los Angeles, California (December 8, 2016) – Two drivers were injured early Friday morning after their vehicles collided near the intersection of North Alvarado Street and West Court Street, according to a police report.

At around 12:04 a.m. the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of an accident in the Westlake Village area. On arrival, the firefighters found two vehicles involved in the crash at the scene.

As per the report, a Toyota Camry was rear-ended by an unknown car. The report also stated that one of the vehicles caught fire after the crash. The responding fire crews extinguished the blaze.

The drivers of both cars suffer minor injuries and were attended to at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department Rampart Division is heading an investigation to determine the possible involvement of alcohol in the fiery collision.
