1 Hurt in Petaluma Car Accident on Lakeville Highway at Pine View Way
Petaluma, California (November 7, 2019) – According to the Petaluma Police, one person was injured in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Petaluma on Wednesday evening.
The multi-vehicle crash was reported at about 5:40 p.m. November 6, on Lakeville Highway at Pine View Way, near Kaiser Permanente medical offices.
The accident involved three cars that collided for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, one person was trapped in one of the cars involved.
According to Lt. Tim Lyons of the Petaluma Police Department, the victim had to be extricated from the wreckage. The three vehicles were blocking both lanes of the highway after the wreck.
One of the drivers involved was reported to have sustained moderate injuries following the collision.
It was not mentioned whether or not there were other victims hurt in the crash.
The crash resulted in the closure of the highway between Browns Lane and Frates Road for about an hour. The highway was reopened at 6:20 p.m.
The investigation is underway.
