Juan Beltran, Rene Martinez Collide At Intersection of Hickory Street and Foothill Avenue
Lindsay, California (December 12, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, a man
was flown to a hospital Saturday morning after running a stop sign on Hickory Street And Foothill Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. when a Honda, driven by Rene Martinez, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and broadsided a Jeep, driven by Juan Beltran, 38, of Visalia.
The impact of the collision sent the two vehicles off the road where they struck a large tree and a fence of a nearby home.
One person was flown to Kaweah Delta Medical Center after sustaining major injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, Beltran was transported by an ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.
