Kid Dies after Motorcycle and Car Crash at Coffee and Hageman Roads in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, California (January 11, 2021) – A traffic collision involving a motorcycle and car at an intersection in Bakersfield Sunday afternoon left one person dead.

The Bakersfield Police Department responded to the fatal crash site shortly before 1 p.m. at Coffee and Hageman Roads.

The accident happened an SUV operated by a female party made a left turn in front of a motorcycle that was heading westbound on the roadway.

The motorcyclist then crashed with the SUV, whose driver remained at the scene.

A kid was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Another victim, a male party, sustained life-threatening injuries, and was hospitalized for further medication.

The Bakersfield Police Department is still investigating to determine the cause of the January 10 crash.
