Pittsburg, CA:  61-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 4

Pittsburg, California (June 12, 2019) – A 61-year-old Antioch man was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Tuesday afternoon in Pittsburg, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at around 2:20 p.m. June 11, on westbound State Highway 4 between Loveridge Road and Somersville Road.

The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office said a BMW collided with a Harley Davidson causing the ride to be ejected from the motorcycle into the roadway.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver if the BMW was unhurt and he stayed at the scene of the crash and cooperated with the police.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
