Randall Utter Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 4 near Somersville Road in Pittsburg

Pittsburg, California (June 12, 2019) – Randall Utter, 61, of Antioch has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed on Tuesday afternoon in Puttsbults, according to California Highway Patrol.

The deadly accident was reported at around 2:15 p.m. June 11, on Highway 4, just west of Somersville Road on-ramp.

Police said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle ridden by Utter and a BMW collides on the westbound side of Highway 4.

Utter was ejected from his motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The driver of the BMW stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The investigation is still ongoing.
