Romeo Gonzalez Dies after Vallejo Motorcycle Accident on Railroad Avenue
Vallejo, California (June 12, 2019) – 38-year-old Romeo Gonzalez has been identified as the motorcyclist killed after a traffic crash Monday morning in the area of Vallejo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 10:50 a.m. Monday, June 11, at Railroad Avenue and Fourth Street.
As per the CHP officials, Gonzalez was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by an Infiniti that was making a U-turn at the junction.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found Gonzalez lying in the roadway with critical injuries. Their efforts to save him were unsuccessful and they declared him dead at the scene.
The Infiniti driver identified as 32-year-old Rohnert Park resident suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The patient’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
An investigation into this incident is underway.
