1 Suffers Major Injuries in Hit-and-Run Santa Maria Pedestrian Accident on Blosser Road near Cook Street

Santa Maria, California (January 20, 2021) – An alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that took place Saturday evening in Santa Maria left one person with serious injuries.

Authorities responded to the major injury crash site at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Blosser Road, just north of the Cook Street intersection.

An individual was struck by a dark color, older model sedan while crossing Blosser Road on January 16.

Due to the impact, the vehicle acquired damage to the front bumper and a broken front light.

The unidentified victim was hospitalized with major injuries sustained in the wreck.

Officials are still gathering more evidence to locate the suspect who fled the scene heading eastbound onto Boone Street.
