Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 near Woollomes Avenue Left Male Party Dead

Fresno, California (October 16, 202) – 48-year-old Grant August Miller, of Fresno, has been arrested following a fatal pedestrian accident that happened Thursday night in Fresno.

Officials responded to the deadly crash site shortly before midnight on northbound Highway 99 south of Woollomes Avenue.

A 22-year-old man was hit by a Mazda CX-5 operated by Miller while helping a stranded driver along the highway.

Sadly, the male pedestrian died in the crash.

Police later arrested Miller on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

The fatal accident remains under the investigation by the CHP.
