Michael Sampedro ID’d as Skateboarder Killed in Fresno Crash on Ashlan Avenue and Cedar Avenue
Fresno, California (August 12, 2019) – 31-year-old Michael Sampedro, of Fresno, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by a car on Saturday night in Fresno, Susan Chenot arrested, as per a local news source.
The incident occurred on 11:56 p.m. August 10, at Ashlan Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
According to reports, a blue PT Cruiser struck Sampedro and fled the scene of the crash without helping him.
Sampedro was pronounced dead at the scene on the crash.
Chenot, 56, was later located at her home and arrested by police. She was booked into Fresno County jail, on suspicion of felony hit-and-run resulting to death.
The investigation to determine the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
