Naftali Harrison Killed in Fairfield Train Accident near Cordelia and Orehr Roads
Fairfield, California (April 5, 2019) – 47-year-old Naftali Harrison of Fairfield has been identified as the pedestrian killed in a train accident Wednesday afternoon in the area of Fairfield, according to the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened at around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, near Cordelia and Orehr Roads.
Officials said that the Amtrak Capitol Corridor No. 543 train was heading to San Jose from Sacramento when it struck Harrison. Harrison suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
175 people were reportedly on board the train when the collision happened but none of them was hurt.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
