Woman Dies in San Diego Pedestrian Accident near West University Avenue and Front Street
San Diego, California (June 10, 2019) – A woman was killed after a pedestrian accident Saturday night in the area of San Diego, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 11:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, West University Avenue and Front Street.
As per the CHP officials, an on-duty San Diego police car was responding to a burglary in the area, when a woman stepped into the roadway from the curb and was hit.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and transported the female victim to UC San Diego Medical Center where she later died.
The victim’s name was not immediately known.
No other details concerning this crash were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
