Jesus Fernandez, Garcia Armando, Jesus Diaz Santoyo and Three others Injured in Porterville Three-car Crash
Porterville, California (December 12, 2016) – A major injury accident was reported on Highway 190 near Highway 160 in Porterville on Saturday, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
According to the report, 34-year-old Jesus Santoyo fro Porterville was driving his vehicle westbound on Highway 190, and as he slowed down to turn left near Highway 168, his car was rear-ended by another vehicle driven by Araseli Barajas. The impact of the accident sent Santoyo’s car into the path of a Honda car driven by 47-year-old Armando Garcia leading to the second crash.
According to the report, Santoyo and a Honda passenger, identified as 32-year-old Jesus Fernandez, sustained major injuries in the crash and were taken to the hospital.
Garcia and Two other people in the Honda were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
A total of six people were injured in the crash but one of them, Barajas, was not injured.
The accident is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability.
