Shala Bianco Arrested after Fatal McKinleyville Pedestrian Accident on Central Avenue at Bella Vista Road
McKinleyville, California (May 21, 2019) – 25-year-old Shala Marie Bianco of McKinleyville has been arrested after an alleged fatal hit-and-run DUI collision Saturday morning in McKinleyville, according to a local news source.
The deadly collision occurred at around 7:28 a.m. Saturday, May 18, on Central Avenue at Bella Vista Road.
As per the report, Deckert was walking along Central Avenue when a northbound 1997 Toyota Rav4 traveling north turned and drifted into the side and hit him.
Deckert was declared dead at the scene.
Bianco, the Toyota driver fled the scene after the crash. The suspect later called officials and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation is underway.
