Beaumont, California (January 23, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, the Riverside County Coroner’s office has identified Gina Marie Herrera, 47, as the woman killed after a Beaumont crash on Friday night.

The deadly collision occurred at about 10:23 p.m. on January 20 on Highway 60 at Jack Rabbit Trail.

Police said at least three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid the crash victims. One person was pinned in the wreckage and was freed by firefighters.

Police confirmed Herrera suffered fatal injuries due to the collision. She was a Westminster, Colorado, resident.

Authorities closed the westbound lanes of Highway 60 at Jack Rabbit Trail following the accident.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
