1 Killed, and 2 Injured in Sacramento Car Accident on Dry Creek Road and Marysville Boulevard

Sacramento, California (November 21, 2022) – A three-vehicle accident that happened Sunday evening in Sacramento left one party dead and two others injured.

Sacramento Police Department says the collision was reported at around 4:15 p.m. in the area of Dry Creek Road and Marysville Boulevard.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident.

Investigators say Joel Jimenez-Cervante, 25, was driving while under influence.

Jimenez will be booked into the Sacramento County Jail for driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter, once he is cleared from the hospital.

A woman was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Two other parties were taken to the hospital by first responders with non-life-threatening injuries.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

More details about the crash were not available.

An investigation to determine the cause of the wreck is in progress.
