Man Injured in Merced Tractor Accident at Westside Boulevard and Griffith Avenue
Merced County, California (April 20, 2022) – A Livingston man was seriously injured in a collision with a tractor on Tuesday evening in Merced County.
The crash was reported at around 4:54 p.m. on April 19, in the area of Westside Boulevard and Griffith Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a 31-year-old Livingston man was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla eastbound on Westside Boulevard when he veered into the opposite lanes for unknown reasons and collided with a cultivation equipment attached to a New Holland tractor.
The man suffered major injuries to his upper body and was flown to a hospital in Modesto.
The driver of the tractor, Roberto Cervantes, was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
