Deadly Collision Kills Motorcycle Driver- Gardena Intersection

A motorcyclist was struck and killed in a collision with a minivan at a Gardena intersection. The crash reportedly took place at Purche Ave. and Rosecrans Blvd intersection at around 5:20p.m. The Gardena Police Department stated that the firefighers from Los Angeles County reported to the scene of the accident.
Investigators reported the crash appears to have taken place when a Honda minivan driving westbound on Rosecrans attempted to make a left turn on northbound Purche Avenue when it hit a motocylist who was driving eastbound.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers and the driver of the minivan didn’t sustain any injuries. The Traffic Bureau at the Police Department was performing an investigation into the crash.
