November 7, 2015
An early morning accident on Saturday, November 7, 2015, left five injured, two critically. At around 3 a.m., a motorcycle t-boned a car that was making a left turn onto Manning Avenue from Wilshire Boulevard. An eye witness reported that the motorcycle was driving so fast that it was unlikely he could have seen anyone coming over a nearby hill.
The car, a Nissan Sentra, contained four UCLA students who had gone out that night for a bite to eat. All of the Sentra’s passengers were injured but one of the passengers and the driver of the motorcycle were left in critical condition. The injured students and the motorcycle operator were all taken to either Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center or Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
