Beatriz Rafael Dies in Lynwood Crash on 710 Freeway near Imperial Highway
Lynwood, California (June 1, 2023) – Authorities have identified 32-year-old Beatriz Rafael as a woman killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Lynwood early Thursday morning.
At around 1:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a car crash on the 710 Freeway near Imperial Highway.
Multiple vehicles, including a black Jeep and a silver Mini Cooper, reportedly collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
Beatriz Rafael was found lying unconscious after being possibly ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The crash temporarily blocked all of the freeway’s southbound lanes before the scene was cleared.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
