Woman Killed in Hanford Vehicle Collision on Kansas Avenue
Hanford, California (June 10, 2023) – Authorities responded to a two-vehicle collision Friday morning that left a woman with fatal injuries in Hanford.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 7:40 a.m. June 9 in the area of Kansas Avenue near the east of State Route 41.
Per the report, an eastbound 2019 Honda on Kansas Avenue collided with a westbound 2020 Freightliner on Kansas Avenue for unknown reasons.
The Honda driver died of his injuries at the crash site.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
The CHP said both drivers wore seatbelts at the time of the incident.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to have played a role in the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
