LOS ANGELES, California (July 22, 2016) – Two people were killed and two others injured Friday morning after their vehicle crashed into a tree on the southbound San Gabriel River 605 Freeway near 60 Pomona Freeway, according to a CHP report.
The 7:35 AM crash occurred when a vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree. Two people died at the scene. Two other people were injured in the crash and were hospitalized.
A SigAlert was issued and all the lanes connecting to 60 Freeway were closed as the police carried out an investigation into the crash.
